Car shows can get boring quick if they're just about numbers and specs. That's what makes Top Gear so good. They have those, but they have other things to make the show more entertaining as well.

I always thought that cutting to shots of tire smoke and mostly naked women would fill in the rest of the show.

You need to send this idea to the people that make boring car shows. They haven't understood that yet.

Because the sponsors dictate the show in most cases

I remember reading on this forum that there was someone who actually knew that guy and he really is blind.

It's scripted, but why would they fake a blind guy. It Would be just as entertaining if he ran over the other two host.
