Hey everyone, just wanted to pop in a say hi and to let people know what i been doing since i sold my 370z. Few months ago i made the decision that having the Z wasnt practical for what i needed. I needed something that was good in the harsh winters that we have in edmonton, that could fit more then 2 people, could haul my army kit and haul my bike to the track.And the main thing, i got screwed on the price for the Z but never really cared until i realised how screwed i got. So that left me with buying a truck. Now i never been into trucks and i still wanted to race so i started looking around at SRT-10 Rams. After about a month or two of searching i couldnt find one that was a good deal. Either they had been in accidents or dealerships were asking way to much i pretty much gave up.

So my gf and I were crusing around in the Z one day and went by a dodge dealership. She said she thought she seen another SRT-10 so i went back, sure enough there was. It was a 2005 QC with 81,000km for $29,000cdn. Had a K&N intake, Magnaflow exhaust and a fully built custom sound system.

So i went through the process, final deal was...

370z was on a 8 year finance contract, with interest it would have been $73,000.

So the amount owing was 52,000 on the Z. They gave me $30,000 for it. Truck is $29,000...so the amount of the Z left got carried over which is ok i guess, i really wanted to get rid of the Z. So in the end im paying $51,000 in 5 years.

So i got the truck home and since the dealership never had a maintnence record of the truck i started changing fluids, plugs and all that stuff. Engine and Diff wasnt that bad, tranny i didnt do cuz im waiting for a part to come in to make things easier. The plugs were messed up. I talked to a bunch of people and they think the plugs have never been changed. So i since i was planning on running nitrous on the truck i went to the shop to find some ngk, but they didnt have 1 step colder in stock so the guy said the new E3 plugs will work. So i changed them out, noticed the number 2 wire was looking bad so i orderd new wires and coils. After changing them all out the truck felt alot better.

So then the mods started. Did the wires and coils, then got new headlights and taillights and got the front windows tinted to 5% and the rears 1%. Installed the nitrous kit, just waiting for the winter to pass so i can get her tuned and ready to rock. I got a ported/polished throttle body on the way as well. And painted the interior trim to match the body.
