Edit: Yar, I tried and tried and TRIED to get from 99 to 100%, but am convinced I cannot make it any cheaper or capture any more than 98% of the particles... I decided to look at the sample to see if it was 100%, and it looked exactly the same as mine lol

I'm at 98% also. 0:17 seconds and all 15 coconuts. I cannot build a cart that goes faster than 0:17.

I made a cart that will run 15 seconds, it's just horrible at carrying coconuts :icon17:

Thanks! I notice that the time per run seems to vary, especially if you hit the ramps at different angles. To hit 15 seconds, I think the cart literally flew over the last ramp.

I gotta say, you blew my mind. I was over complicating it. I was making trap doors to fall after I got going to trap the coconuts, 3 main wheels with a shock-absorbing front wheel that was smaller and higher up, 4 shocks per wheel to absorb impact at any angle, etc, etc.

It sounds like you were applying the German Engineering principle to the cart design. Idid this with my Cart Version #2, which was overly complicated and slow. I had 4 wheels, a huge base, and two compartments for the coconuts. I think the physics engine in this simple little program is actually pretty good, as the separate coconut compartments added to the instability of the cart. I would often hit a jump and land on the front of the cart and endo, spilling all the coconuts on the ground.

Let me know your results. I am curious to see if anyone can beat 0:15 seconds.

nice!
