strange engine sound -- help

Ok guys so here's a weird one. I drive a Pontiac Grand Prix. Sometimes, after very hard cornering, my engine will make a strange whining sound that correlates with engine speed, but it will usually go away after a few minutes. The whine kind of sounds like the engine in this video (but a little less high pitched):

Any ideas what it is? And why does it go away? It's so strange... No mods on the car either.

Hahaha and it only kicks in after turning really hard

I honestly can't figure it out. It almost does sound like a (chitty) supercharger, but it's not so high pitched, and it has something about it that doesn't sound quite right. It scares me when it happens.

just a shot in the dark but could you be low on power steering fluid?
