Ford really trying to compare to a lambo?

Is that one in the link you posted even shown in the U.S.? The only "New" Subaru commercials I've seen are the 2-3 EXTREMELY lame ones such as the one I mentioned. The last semi not so bad Subaru commercial I’ve seen was one where the driver was doing slides all over / around the pavement in a WRX. But even that one was edging on lame because as they showed the driver doing gear changes he clearly wasn’t changing gears, just moving his hand back and forth like a dildo.

lots of views doesn't mean marketing genius. I'm sure they could have an ad where they compare all the german cars to hitler and have swastikas all over them and it would get tons of views. The slogan could be "Buy American instead of Nazi cars" It would be a really bad ad compaign and really hurt them, but rest assured, it would get way more views than this commercial.

If you think something like this where they insult a great car makes me want to go out and buy a ford your wrong in the head. If anything this makes me hate ford even more. And to think I was going to their website to check out the new mustang but never looked after seeing that video.

Because of what you did, you posted it on a forum, people watched it here. Someone may have taken it and posted on another forum, and the process repeats itself.
Any advertising is good advertising, because it gets people to Ford's website, whether they stay or just go.

when I hear that new Volvo slogan about how you should just buy one "because there are more important things in life", or some nonsense like that. To me, that entire idea is suggesting for you to just turn off your brain about what is essentially one of the largest purchases you'll ever make.

What's sad to me is that their target demographic exists, and as a car enthusiast, that entire philosophy is anathema to me.

I'm all with the funny ads, but seriously, you're comparing these two cars performance wise?I think the jabs at cargo space,start button,etc. would fly, but I couldve done without the half *** autocross they set up.
