Worst car you've ever driven

Dodge Magnum R/T. Every time you stepped on the accelerator pedal the fuel gauge would drop. And for all the noise and fuel usage, the car really wouldn't go anywhere.

To make matters worse, when trying to steer around a corner, the ***-end would come spinning around to the front. I guess "bro's" have to have something to drive other than their trucks.

The Punisher.

I had a 78 Rally Sport Camaro w/ a built 350, new paint black on red when I was 16. It last one month before I totalled it and Dad saw fit to give me a mustard yellow datsun b210 that had 3 cylinders working, blew gobs of black smoke and was just generally embarassing to drive around in. While I hated the car, it forced me to learn to work on it and I got to (begrudgingly) admire it. It is also began my love for the 260z which in turn led to me getting my 370z.

My friend's 2001 Camaro.

Loft, squishy suspension inspired no confidence whatsoever and made taking every turn above 40mph a butt-clenching experience

weird, stiff driver controls (stalk and hazards)

clunky, tempermental transmission. Randomly grinded for no reason. Clutch was terrible, and throws were massive

incredibly large and heavy. Car was a drunk elephant

Steering was numb...til the power steering broke. Then driving the thing in the city and parking lots became a work out

interior fell apart randomly

v6 engine was terribly underpowered for a car of that size

and the list goes on

:]

A 1972 toyoda corolla. It was a hand me down from grandma to older brother to me. I drove it my junior year to high school and it was the worst car in the lot. My brother had stripped ever bit of radio out of it so I used a portable stereo in the back seat. Holes in the doors, dash and back deck made it look classy.

Ford pinto. but let me say that i got this car when i was 12 years old. long story short i grew up on a 1oo acre farm and my father got a great deal on this thing and he gave it to my sister and me for a learning tool. it was a stick and for the money wasn't in bad shape.
as i got older i would venture further and further away from the field where we were confined to. by the age 14 i was driving off on the gravel roads off our property sometimes 5 or 6 miles away. friends that came over would luv it cause we all jumped in and went cruising. needless to say by the time i was old enough to drive i wasn't caught dead in my little red beast but i have many memories in it. i'll have to try to find some pics of her!!!!!

Chevrolet Chevette

Ford Pinto Wagon

My only excuse was school was expensive and the cars were cheap.

76 Plymouth Volare

http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/tag/volare/

Quote:
Lee Iacocca even admitted in his autobiography, “Iacocca: An Autobiography,” that Chrysler rushed the Volaré and its Dodge counterpart, the Aspen, to market too soon:

Aspen and Volaré were introduced in 1975, but they should have been delayed a full six months. The company was hungry for cash, and this time Chrysler didn’t honor the normal cycle of designing, testing, and building an automobile. The customers who bought Aspens and Volarés in 1975 were actually acting as Chrysler’s development engineers. When these cars first came out, they were still in the development phase. Looking back over the past twenty years or so, I can’t think of any cars that caused more disappointment among customers than the Aspen and the Volaré.

i think it was the ford escort (unless they had a similar car in that range) back in 1997-1998 while new. got it as a rental from hertz. worst handling crap car ive ever driven. it literally had zero stability when i pushed the car just a little bit while going through an expressway entrance ramp. it was so bad it couldnt tell which way to turn the steering wheel to gain control of the situation. only option was to let off the gas and wait.
