It's actually pretty simple, just like playing Gran Turismo

You could stick to just one launch rpm but it might not give you the best possible time. Road course is definitely more complicated, but would also be a lot more fun. Gonna try AutoX in the mean time.

OOctober 8th is the planned AutoX day. Doing a GT-R cruise on October 1st

There's a reasonable chance I'll be in town that week. Got a conference in DC. If I am, I will try to make it out and participate. I'll bring the Go Pro so we can humiliate ourselves together.

Sounds like fun! I just hope it goes as well as my first day at the drag strip

Actually that incident was on the 2nd cruise. 1st and 3rd ones went well.
