So how is this for useless:

My unit is doing a safety stand down today and wants to do a safety inspection on everyones' car. In case they go on a road trip this holiday weekend. So I tell them I have a family of 5 and a car that seats 2. It wouldn't be going on any long trip this weekend. They said 100% is 100%. That's bureaucracy for you. No thought to the purpose just the result.

I love safety stand down days, ESPECIALLY, when it has NOTHING to do with you, or your unit....
