Why don't people understands the protocols of Halloween anymore?

1. Trick or treat hours are 6 pm to 8 pm
2. If the lights are off the house isn't giving candy
3. Only go to each house once
4. Ring the doorbell and wait for an answer then say "trick or Treat"
5. You're probably too young if you can't walk to the door
6. You're probably too old if your are too cool for a costume.

Number 4 didn't bother me, but I thought it was weird to have a kid outside yelling "trick or treat" until I answered the door. I wonder how many walked away without ringing the doorbell.

has anyone had any experience buying a golf cart? i'm moving to within .5 miles from work and most of that is in a small neighborhood. i'm thinking about driving one to and from work to save money on gas. anyone got any idea what to look for, not to look for, fair market value?

i really did think about that too but i carry a laptop backpack and a cooler with my dinner to work every day. having a golf cart would make life easier. plus a 3 minute golf cart ride would be a 15 minute walk, if not more.

Lemers 11-01-2011 03:08 PM

Holly crap 15 min .5 mile walk. I'm required to run 2 miles 18 mins. Thats like 4.5 min jog.
