Officers are in command positions, and they don't want them ever being too friendly with those they are commanding, or even other enlisted members.

Look at it like this, say an officer and an enlisted member were gambling, and the officer won... Then take those same two and put them in combat and the officer having to order the enlisted member into a situation that costs his life...

Kinda trippy when you think about it.

Actually I'll be staying in LI this time, but I usually stay in Queens. I used to live in Queens until I moved to MD 8 years ago. Going to be staying in LI like 5 mins away from Stony Brook University.
