Yeah, I think we're also conditioned to assume big and blingy brakes are good. Too much advertising or something. I know my S stopped better with stock brakes and good rotors and pads than most of the ones with BBKs did.

no doubt, I even find myself falling for the bbk is always better mentality even though I'm well aware that it's not always the case. just something so cool looking about 6 pot calipers painted a bright shiny color...:yum:

The diff whine is annoying, I have the car going in to the dealer for like 12 rattles and the ECU whine...it's gotten to the point where I'm sick of it.

Then there's just the stuff like the engine, which I've never been a fan of, the sloppy feeling trans....I'm also just kinda bored with the car. Maybe I've just been spoiled, but it doesn't really inspire me.

can't say I'm aware of the diff whine issue. then again, I'm half deaf so for all i know, I have an ecu whine too and am completely oblivious to it.

I get feeling like it's time ot move on, I get like that sometimes too. Actually very happy that I'm very satisfied so far with our Z. a lot of that is probably cause every few months we add another mod or two to it so there's always that excitement/anticipation thing going on and it keeps the automobile ADD at bay. :)

surprisingly, I miss the stock s2000 more. My trans was all sorts of ****** in the beast...even had a dogbox for a while...

so... i just bought some short tail exhaust pipes :P i know its not as good as a real exhaust upgrade (nina) but itll tide me over for now
