Yeah, something like that, although adults will remember it as a great series of movies from the 70's and 80's, and it's a shame no other films were made...

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the star wars movies but I have to say that I couldn't tell you one quote from them. Although I do like the name Porkins.

I don't think I have ever seen that one. I guess I will have to add it to my netflix queue.

It's one of my favorite SciFi movies. Very deep philosophical movie.

it's highly regarded as one of the top 5 sci fi movies of all time. it's definitely in my top 5. i will say this tho, the first time i watched it, i didn't really "get it". subsequent views gave me the newfound respect for it. also, there's at least 5 different cuts of the movie. the final cut is, imo, the best cut. the theatrical release had a cheesy voiceover that the studio dubbed in after filming plus a controversial "happy ending". the directors cut ditched that but was made by the producers, not ridley scott (who is awesome!) the director. the "final cut" was the one ridley oversaw and it shows. if you have a blu ray player and a 1080p TV, it is also hands down one of the best looking blu rays on the market, even tho it's 25 years old now
