He won his second game 26 to 7. Another good game too bad the opposing team parents were poor losers. Telling our kids they were too old, even though they were all ID'd and wearing tourney bracelets.

Some people just suck.

Lemers 05-21-2011 07:15 PM

Some people just are poor sports and all they are teaching their kids to be poor sports also.

That's cool. I really love to watch my kids. They play ice hockey. My youngest boy's team is undefeated. They continue to play this one team in particular that is the tallest team in the league (this is the first year that checking is allowed). The coach has his kids check ours to the point that they are illegal hits, like cross checking to the back of the head. When the kid gets a penalty and goes to the box, his coach actually high fives the kids for the hits they inflict. Un-fvcking-believable!! The parents cheer even when the kids hit and the other kid is real slow to get up. It pisses me off to the point that if I didn't just have knee surgery, I would show the parents and the coach what an illegal hit is like that they would be slow to get up from and see how they like it.

Sorry, I was getting angry as I typed!! Adults man, sometimes they act like juveniles more than the kids do.

Yeah. My kids have been on losing teams and the last couple they've been on winning teams. So Ive been on both sides of this. But this year some of these "adults" are just childish. They even make it were the parents have to stay on a certain side of the forty (midfield for this age), so they don't fight.

Oh and don't even tell the ref they are wrong or they will penalize the team. Our kids got a first and goal by converting the 4th down. They played the first then the ref signaled that it was a first down going the other way and moved the chains. We started yelling that it was 2nd down and the coach had to get out there. Finally they put the chains back down and the ref signaled 3rd down our ball. I yelled no 2nd down at the ref and he came to me yelling "are you the coach?". I said "no are you a ref?". Our coach then yelled to me that they got it.

I understand that you can't personnaly badger the ref by calling them names and such, but they would have thick skin especially when they screw something major up. It wasn't like he missed a block or a holding the guy wasn't Keeping track of downs. Basic ref duties.

Same in hockey my friend. It is SO aggravating!!

Hockey isn't a real sport. There is no sportsmanship in it.

Lemers 05-22-2011 10:39 AM

I believe sports must be played with a team and a ball. Hockey has a team and the ball is just flat and hard.

Hockey ftw!

A pack-a-day smoker will on average lose 2 teeth, every 10 years.
