Americas fastest highways!!
Came across this article on line thought i would share. In case you get tired of driving 65. Here is a link to the article- In Pictures: America's Fastest Roads - - Forbes.com
I'm not condoning speeding or careless driving but it would be fun to drive with the flow of traffic that averages 95mph just to mess with peoples head. |
I remember taking my DL road test (I did it outside of school) and the instructor had me get on I-95 in Northern VA. My exit had a 55mph speed limit, but anything less than 80 mean getting rammed and pushed into a guard rail. I was so confused when the instructor was screaming "speed up!" when I was at 55mph.
Of course, 20 miles away, you can get pulled over for going 70 in a 65... |
They were the fastest highways, now they will probably do a couple months of speed traps because of the article :icon17:
|
Yeah i see that coming. What was weird was i didn't know that they could track all the cars with gps to get an average. nowadays you may run but your
damn sure not going to hide. makes me wonder if your cell phone is turned on and it has a gps which most do they can trap you like that. |
I-10 between SanAntonio and El Paso has a speed limit of 80 mph for over 400 miles. I'm sure segments have a higher average speed limit than some of the roads in that article.
