Personally, I don't like the looks for the Non-M BMWs (except for the Z4 Coupes. Those are just awesome in all trims.)

If I were buying a luxury car and the handling was HARDLY a difference between the two, it would be nothing I care about. I'm buying a luxury car, not a track car. I don't plan on doing 100 MPH through the canyons in my luxury car. If I was, I'd be upgrading the suspension anyway.

Nissan is FAR more reliable than BMW. Hands down. I've had a G35 and M35 and neither of them have been in the shop for anything other than oil changes. I've had the M for 3 years and had the G for 2 years.

Nissan wins in Value. You're not paying for the name BMW, and when the car goes out of warranty, the parts are cheaper than BMW's.

I think the BMW wins in Luxury. It's been a year or so since I've been in one, but I remember liking the creature comforts in the BMW more. Same options, but done very well in the BMW.

BMW's name comes with it's own class. I've heard girls say "I won't date a guy that doesn't drive a Bimmer." <-- Sad but true. Freaking hussies.

Curb appeal is a draw for me. I look at the two cars and I think the same thing about both of them. $50K car. Fit and finish. And both very refined.

BMW's going to get you laid, but you'll be happier with a better built car, unless you're just trying to get laid.

Oh lord not this again.

Probably of the most beat to death comparison of the last few years. E90post, myG37, ClubLexus, etc etc. its on every forum.

My take, get whatever car you like more: They are both great cars.

IMO the Bimmer is plain and boring. When you buy a BMW you are being ripped off and bent over without lube. While the BMW may ride good and handle, thats pretty much all they do. Unless you get an M model and you better bring your own lube for that one! IMO like the above poster the only decent looking ones are the M versions but they are WAY overpriced!

The Infiniti on the other hand looks great, handles great (for the street), is quick and has a great interior. Hands down Infiniti!

i have owned both cars so i can chime in:
1. acceleration there's no comparison. The throttle and turbo response on the 335 is epic, chipped or not! The G37 even if it's fast (altho definitely not faster than 335) still "feels" slow coz it needs to build up the torque
2. handling: the G37 handles pretty well but i would say if the 335 gets 10 points, the G37 gets 8. Plus the 335 comes with Michelin PS2's which are much gummier and grippy than bridgeSTONE.
3. reliability: i am unaware of any G37 issues, but i know one very common issue with 335 which is the fuel pump frequent failures
4. stock vs. stock i guess it's matter of preference. i was kinda disappointed with the G's new look after the G35 (which was awesome IMHO). the BMW lacks a few things in the front. but the aero lip for 300 bucks remedies that very nicely. the G37 looks bulky, but i cannot live with either of them just stock. G37 needs some serious spacers, the butt is ridiculously SC430ish, front is just not special.
The 335 can look boring too... so u need some wheels, drop, aero lip and ur good. this is all subjective, but the attention i got in the 335 >>> the one in G37
5. value as in per buck? i dont have much to say about that. u get what you pay for
6. the rest is all redundant lol

I like what Infiniti did with the G37S.
They got my vote in this.

In my opinion, it is very unfair to compare BMW 335 to Inifity G37S.

BMW 335 coupe starts at $42,000 and can go up to +50,000

I think its more appropriate to compare BMW 328, which starts at $37,000 with 230 HP and 200 TQ.

Infinity G37 starts at $37,000 with 330HP and 270 TQ.

Infinity G37 vs BMW 328....LOL no comparison.

Always, it has been my personal opinion that, unless its BMW M class, other BMW lineups are overpriced, or you can get better cars for that money.

actually the 328 is still pretty nice. might not do the 1/4 mile, but still handles better, etc. i wouldnt say "no comparison"

but then if the G37 was priced as much as the 335 then there would be a "LOL no comparison" they only way G37 can compete is by being cheap. not everyone likes "cheap"

LOL, typical BMW fanboy response.

So stuck up with BMW badge, that they will regard all other non-BMW cars as piece of ****, no matter how good that car is for its price.

Poor G37.

Can't quite dethrone the 335i and now gets pushed aside by the Hyundai Genesis Coupe lol.

Let's keep this thread civil people.
Regardless of the pro's and con's of each vehicle they are both nice cars. I've always liked the styling of the 335i...the sound of the VQ motor though is .

LOL, another BMW owner...they are such haters..

They can't stand the fact that G37 is better value car than BMW 328/335 can they..

Dude, if Hyundai Genesis Coupe is better car than G37, then it means Genesis Coupe is easily MUCH MUCH better than BMW 328...LOL
