Default Iphone 3Gs update sync problems

Is anyone having problems playing there Iphone (3Gs) through there Nav system after updating to the new 4.0 software? After updating, when I plug my Iphone into the car it keeps searching, believe it says "no USB memory". Also, my Ipod has no problems playing.

Same problem here. Not that it was working perfectly before...but at least it was working. I'm starting to think I have to get a dedicated iPod for the Z now...

I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I heard the new phone had issues, so i dont want its operating system on mine until its all sorted out. Try and buy an ipod classic on ebay or something. You don't need a working screen or battery life.
