Although this was said jokingly in another thread, it actually makes sense. As the members of this board increases, so goes the number of posts, thus making it harder for the mods to catch much of the stuff. Since nogoodname seems to actually really want the gig, he gets my nomination if the job ever opens up. :tup:

Have fun being a mod, I mod a couple of forums currently and have done many in the past, I think I will past though. To much fun just being down here. :bowdown:

If this is the method we are going to use to choose a moderator, then it'll end up just like every other forums on the internet. Post counts has NO value to me. Have you ever seen "onethreefive" post? He may not post but he is very active and works in the background. What I care about is how mature or informational is your posts, if someone attacks you, how (how well) you handle the situation, do you just post one line replies with no values or do you write in a very organized way with all your thoughts and facts properly displayed, how helpful are you to other members etc.

You may not know it, but I watch everyone. I exactly know who is capable of what. if you want to be a part of our forum, this will be a good time to start contributing to our forums in a way that not only your earn peoples respect, you get respect from ME as well. Try to distinct yourself from the crowd and you'll be moderating these forums one day.

There will be moderator application in near future that you can apply. You will see it in "forum announcement" section.
