We have a fridge at my place of business that's used for people's lunches/dinners, etc. (we are a 24 hour facility). This fridge gets pretty nasty every now and then, until someone decides to clean it out. I'm usually one of those guys, because I can't stand month-old milk stinking up my lunch.
Anyways, I went to the fridge this morning and there was raw chicken sitting in the original packaging (the gooey, styrofoam pack) on one of the shelves. It was probably 4 or 5 chicken breasts to begin with, but half of it was cooked last night (I'm assuming) and the other half was left in the fridge raw, probably to cook tonight or on a later date. The chicken wasn't in a bag, or sealed containeer. It had a flimsy piece of seran wrap "mostly" covering the top of the chicken. Some of my coworkers are giving me a hard time now because I immediately took it the trash. Am I wrong?
