its very quite... i would say like my PS3... as far as the cooling its got that big vent on the broad side now that really lets alot of heat out... it also has a built in failsafe that if the console does get too hot the center light will blink red and a message will pop up telling you you have a ventilation issue and you can resume playing when the light stops blinking ( this hasnt happened to me im just relaying what i read and saw the pic of on a tech blog)

but yeah i love it... i just got a new 1080P 60" TV and my old 360 didnt even have HDMI so having that and the 250G is really cool.... i HATED my old 360... it was my 4th and i had disc read errors and freezes all the time.... so i laughed a little on the inside when gamestop gave me all that credit for it

and as far as availability... i got mine overnight online but my brother went into the local gamestop store to trade up and they said it would be 2 weeks.. we asked if we could just get the extra promotion credit on a edge card like i did and just get it on gamestop.com but they said no and it was like a $60 difference in trade in value at the store so he is gonna just have to wait... they didnt hardly believe me when i told them i got 1 just 2 days after it was shown at E3... i told them it was on their own site and said ships in 24 hours... so i guess it varies

i know target and bestbuy might have them but gamestop really has the lock down because of the trade in offers for the old 360... which end on july 13th just so everyone knows

it was probably about time for a new TV lol. did you get the sony one BB had on sale? LED/120hz/all that jazz?

i got a LG 60" plasma for like $1350 at HHgreg it listed for like #1799 on sale for 1599 or something like that ..... and i got a $275 entertainment center ( remember how my old projection was free standing) for like $90 so for the money im very happy with it

still got my PS3 in the bedroom so i can have room for my GT5 wheel set up

haha, hilarious, I still have my 1st Gen, yep, 1st Gen 360, i went a good 4 years before I got the RROD, just in time for my microsoft warranty to expire, bastards. I kept baking it, it would work for about 10 hours of gameplay, then shyt itself again, so I finally said fcuk it and bought this new one, my PS3's been getting alot of attention lately, hopefully this'll even out the play time. Oh, heres my new setup, the big one is my new Mitsubishi 73" 3D juggernaut, the smaller one is a samsung 50" LED for reference:tup:
