Le Mans 24Hr Race TODAY!
Just filling some of you who may have forgotten, live under a rock, or have not ever heard of this event. But arguably the greatest race on earth is now underway in LaSarthe,France.
Check it out on RadioLemans.com to listen live online (which I am doing now) or watch live on SPEED Channel. The top of the top in road race drivers are competing. The likes of Alan Mcnish; Paul Gentilozzi; Jonny O' Connel and many more. Some of you who came to our Z Nationals event last year may remember a rougue, white 2010 BMW M5 terrorizing the track. A gentleman by the name of Leh Keen was piloting that car and he is racing the #89 Hankook Ferrari F430GT this weekend. |

Does Ferrari not race prototypes at Le Mans anymore? Haven't seen any yet. I wanted to see my Favorite R1 Forza 3 car lol.

Way to go Peugeot. Oops.

I hate that I slept in Sunday morning and missed the finish. Glad to see the Audi boys back 1,2,3 again.
Ferrari has not raced in LMP1 or LMP2 in some years now. They are mainly running GT1 and GT2. Between the 360GT Modena, F430GT and the old Prodrive 550/575 Maranello's, thats about it. They have mainly been looking at beating the C65-R Vette guys. It did suck that both Risi Comp. Ferraris dropped out. I'm looking forward to next season. The new rule changes will make things very interesting. There will also be a GT-R Program involved too! So Nissan is hopefully getting back into the hardcore motorsports mood again. |
Congrats to Audi, sucks to hear about Peugeot having so many problems.
