So BMW is one of the cars that I have always wanted to try owning, but just have never gotten around to it. Then I see this, and I dunno what to say....

I dono, hes a tool. But the bulk majority of the BMW guys I've met have really been nice guys. Most of the compliments on the Z from strangers have been from BMW owners.

its just that many automotive shows/magazines, such as top gear all brand BMW as being owned by a bunch of "cocks," so its just funny to see it happen in real life. But in reality, you are correct.

And I really hate that stereotype. ******** drive all sorts of cars, not just BMWs. Hell, once when I was driving in my E38, some dude in a brand-new F-150 just randomly hit his brakes like this guy did, switched lanes, and slowed down. As soon as I was getting ahead of him, he started keeping up with me, rolled down his window and started calling me an a-hole for tailgating... :confused:

It happened to me a couple weeks ago. Some dude was tailgating me and called me the f word and he also called me faggot. I was going to say something back to him or flip him, but i decided to let it go. i think giving people the 'I don't care' attitude is the best thing.

It's the BMW Virus. Around here (Fairfield County, CT) the BMW is ubiquitous, the preferred ride of the Trust Fund Babies, mostly arrogant bozos who can't drive worth a damn.

I don't know why it is, but the BMW Motorcycle crowd (I'm one of them) are very cool and very knowledgeable and respectful of other bikes. The BMW car crowd is the Top-Siders, Ralph Lauren Polo and GAP khaki-wearing preppie peens.
