Here's my TRex 450 with nav lights and night blades:

I have the same TRex 600E heli and Airwolf fuselage...just haven't had the time to assemble and set it up:

The nitro is a mix of fuel and nitro, usually between 10 and 30 percent nitro to fuel. Generally I get about 20 minutes of fly time per tank. Great thing about gas powered planes is you can land, refuel, and go right back up. No waiting for the batteries to recharge, unless your transmitter dies that is. I enjoy the internal combustion planes more than electric because they're generally just louder and have a more authentic feel when you watch one fly.

Folks:

YouTube - Bobby Watts competiting in the Night Fly competition of the 2010 XFC!

The greatest exhibition of night 3D RC Helicopter Flying I have ever seen. Watch it all the way through. Three parts in particular....at 1:02 the launch.......at 3:15 the tribute to Kit of Night Rider.........and at the end the Grand Finale!!!!

This is truly an exhibition of man's artistic spirit!! The guy ought to be on the "America's Got Talent" show.

Enjoy!!!

I have a .28 RC 4WD buggy that I run - its a blast and the parts are way cheaper than car parts!

I ws just thinking about how RC things that don't fly, like cars and boats, must have a heck of alot less maintenance and are cheaper to maintain than RC things that fly since the cars and boats don't have the Y-axis to have to worry about.

I just recently stepped up to CCPM helis and it seems I am spending as much time performing minor repairing as I am doing flying!!

But that's inherent of all helis, real or RC.

That's for sure!!

But man, are RC helis ever fun! Huge pucker factor when you fly, which adds to the rush.

I also have an E-Revo. All terrain RC is also a lot of fun, but when you need a mental or physical break, you just stop whenever. With RC aircraft, you have to focus on landing safely before taking your hands off the controls.
