We used to be able to bail out (which is jumping out with a parachute instead of being ejected via rocket boosted seat) but the Air Force has recently become EXTREMELY anal with weight savings for better fuel conservation (SEE lighter is better... the AF says so!) to the point where they decided to remove the parachutes . So bailing out is no longer and option. If something happens, I'm boned. I'd need to hope for good *** pilots to pull a Sully into the Hudson.
Are you serious? That's bullsh!t - how much can a few chutes weigh? Honestly... Your crew is like what, 4-6 people?

Nice pics btw and good luck with your application too!
