I looked at my panorax, it's def impacted (top image) like the picture

My regular dentist told me that he can't do it. I have to go to Dental Surgeon, which make me even more nervous .

Any tips from anyone? Thanks

I had all 4 removed at once, and they did NOT put me under................... big mistake. You will be fine, and I would never do this without it. Cris covered the biggie, you DO NOT want to develop a "dry socket", the surgeon should cover what to do to avoid that. Just take it easy for a few days until the healing has progressed enough that dry socket is no longer an issue.

Thats understandable since you have holes on your mouth now that need to heal. Keep washing out your mouth to prevent any infections, but you already knew that?

Wash with ?? I can't even drink water. It's still bleeding . My instructions say that first rinse tomorrow with salt and warm water.

Yes, but you have to be gentle with the washing so you don't break out the clots, or dry socket will develop. That's why if it were me, I'd do liquids for the first 2 days, soup and vitamin shakes to avoid any food particles in the hole where the tooth was, then there's nothing to rinse out of the hole.

Yep, that's good, avoid screwing with the clotting. First rinse is warm salt water

True statement but that's probably for bigger cases like Orthopaedic, vascular, heart surgeries where you're under anesthesia for a long time (also those require an Anesthesiologist to intubate you(AKA put an ETT down your throat). The thing that scared the living crap out of me today was possibility of losing sensation in tongue, face, mouth. Thank god that didn't happen.

Thanks for not scaring me though .

Ah yeah, I forgot about the bleeding. I was bleeding for the entire first day. I think at first I was swapping out blood soaked gause every 30 minutes or so, but by the end of the day it slowed down quite a bit.

Don't worry, the worst has passed. It'll only get better from this point on. Unless you get a dry socket, but I don't think you have much to worry about if you follow their instructions.

Good move on going ahead and getting all 4 removed at the same time.

ah.. thanks. I don't feel like I'm the only one. Yes, 4 at once was a good idea. I def can't see myself going through this again. I'm going to follow the instructions as much as I can.

Quick question, should I brush my teeth tonight?

if you can with a brand new toothbrush, you wouldn't want introduce any bacteria from you're existing brush since it's been air drying from the last use. Just a precaution.
