How long does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

cptspeed 05-09-2010 10:38 AM

^he's probably too young to know the answer

Gunzero 05-09-2010 10:40 AM

well if i knew what the baseline dyno is for the z it would be an easy calculation.

Then take your car to the dyno.

Gunzero 05-09-2010 11:01 AM

I love how grumpy everyone is in the morning haha :)
Well if the dyno yields 280 whp to get 330 @ the crank then
362 whp = 412 @ the crank.

shumby 05-09-2010 11:07 AM

2 + 2 = 4

I can haz math

350-360whp

Zsteve 05-09-2010 11:56 AM

one two thrrrrreeee.

CrownR426 05-09-2010 11:59 AM

Why you want to out power a mustang?
You are sad boy.

Sharif@Forged 05-09-2010 12:24 PM

You can only make assumptions. Since drivetrain losses are not linear, it's not as simple as adding X% to a dyno number. Of course, that doesn't stop us from making an educated guess. I'd say 340whp depending on the dyno.

Why do you keep making pointless threads?

CBRich 05-09-2010 01:21 PM

Because he regrets not waiting for the Mustang. He'll probably trade for it soon. Then he'll regret not waiting for the new Camaro with 460 hp and trade for it. Then he'll regret not waiting for the 2021 Hyundai Centurion with 519 hp and trade for it. Then he'll regreat not waiting for the . . .

I thought that is what they did to the stangs from the manufacturer to get them to sund the way they do.

fullmonty 05-09-2010 01:56 PM

m4a1mustang, you got ugly nose?

m4a1mustang 05-09-2010 08:34 PM

Yeah... the dealership drilled holes in it for my plates :(

U-NVmyZ? 05-09-2010 08:35 PM

whats a filipino? lol

m4a1mustang 05-09-2010 08:35 PM

I just want to know why OP picked 412... my guess is the Mustang... but in that case he should use about 435 as a reference since Ford under rates power.
