I decided to overhaul the riding mower today. Found a stripped deck spindle, two bent blades, and a dead mouse in the engine area. My wife mows our 1/2 acre back yard with this mower and here is photographic evidence of her skill: Those blades really, really aren't supposed to look like that. It's no wonder the deck spindle got stripped out. Good thing I decided to overhaul before this summer really started up.
