almost had a very bad accident
I'm currently out of state on business. I have a rent manual corolla.
On the way back to the hotel I took a sweeping corner at 50kph which was the correct speed. Just before entering the corner I shifted to 3rd... At least I thought I did but it was actually 1st. I pulled the clutch out hard cause I rev matched to third but I got hit with compression lock up. I ovwesteered and then sorta understeered (clutch in) and came to finish on the wrong side of the road. Luckily there was no traffic... Anyway it could have ended bad but was lucky. Take care you all. Ps what would have happened if it was rwd? |
