They are cool as well, but you are right, they will show scratches, where the sliver natural ones won't.

No, but when you find a good one share. Is this going to be used to muddle mint leaves for mojitos and mint julips?

No, I am going to muddle fruit, like for "old fashioneds." Specifically, I found a Belvedere vodka recipe I want to try:

2 oz Belvedere IX (which is a unique belvedere I will explain at the bottom)
5 blackberries
4 blueberries
½ oz ginger syrup
Dash lemon juice

Belvedere IX:
Belvedere IX (pronounced one-X) is a blend of 9 natural, individually distilled ingredient and Belvedere Vodka. A new vodka innovation with a taste that is completely unique.
The nine natural ingredients and botanicals represent an internationally diverse selection and are an exiting and unique difference versus other more traditional or artificially flavored vodkas. The nine ingredients are: guarana, ginger, ginseng, jasmine, cinnamon leaf, sweet almond, eucalyptus, black cherry, and aa juice concentrate.

I can't remember, do you mix that with anything, or drink it straight?

I like it on the rocks, but you could mix it with milk or half n half and have a "white russian" tasting drink

Oris makes some nice, reasonably priced watches. Hamilton's are nice and pretty inexpensive as well.

Default Man Purse ... or Man Sack

Saw this on a local blog, I thought I would share:

Now I know this topic seems quite questionable because A LOT of Men like to schlep their belongings in a ‘stylish’ carrier, but what makes the bag seem so ‘pursey’? Well lets begin with the most basic features: size and function. These two areas are the most important things when a Man starts looking for his new duffel. The chosen sack simply must fit all of our sh*t that we must bring and also stand up to the tormenting future to come. The second area of concern is styling. Do you pick the most durable (which is most likely the less attractive) or the Ferrari of bags because of it’s designer label? Answer is simple: Choose the bag that fits your lifestyle or just buy more bags! For example, there’s no need to lock in $1300 bucks for a bag thats only purpose is to sit below the plane while you anxiously try to ignore the crying baby next to you. Instead buy a more durable and stylish version from a renowned luggage maker like Tumi.

But maybe you have enough tote candy for the plane and need something for work. In today’s working world a lot of STUFF is taken from home to office, office to home, etc. Us being a ‘fashion inspired’ blog we will guide you on your way to picking the best Man Sack. Now let’s consider some great bags that allow use for different situations.

1. Work Inspired Briefcase from D&G For Men

Sleek styling and durable Leather makes this bag something to talk to about. It’s cool, simple, and provides plenty of necessary ‘baggage.’

2. The On-The-Go Messenger from Tod’s

It’s all in the bag Man! This cool sling bag from Tod’s offers comfort and durability with the name to back it up. Tod’s messenger bag makes a quick trip into a worry free one because everything can fit on board.

3. The AMAZING DUFFEL! from Salvatore Ferragamo

Now this bag is what makes our knees weak as it is a timeless piece to be used forever. Through the bad times and the good this bag will stand up for any occasion. A special thanks to it’s Italian maker is in order.

So when it comes to choosing your next bag remember that you could be the next victim of the ‘Man Purse’ travesty. Choose for function, durability, and most importantly to fit your lifestyle!

The first bag/link has a "tri-fold" garment bag. I have one of these by Victorinox Swiss Army, as well as their carry-on duffle. These are great pieces, well designed and indistructable.

Victorinox Swiss Army - WT Porter Bag

The tri-fold is designed to fit the carry-on dimensions, and it is great for not getting suits and dressier clothing wrinkled.

The hanging toiletry kit is also very nicely featured:

I have the garment bag, toiletry kit, and carry-on. Carry-on has hidden wheels also so you can roll it with the garment bag over the handle if necessary. I can't seem to locate a pic of the carry-on.
