It's funny, because if you ask most people if they liked the old designs, most would agree. So I always ask myself why we don't just make cars to look like the classics. I don't mean like the new mustang and it's attempt at recreating, but a very close recreation. I would guess it has something to do with safety and other standards that must now be met, but could be off base.

Speaking of talc powder, I found this while doing some reading on different brands:
Many people use talc after bathing or to soothe irritated or inflamed skin. What most people don't know is that there is an inextricable link between tacl and asbestos, which virtually everyone knows causes cancer. In fact, the two are virtually chemically identical. As a consequence, talc manufacturers have played down the link, whilst doing there best to ensure that their powders contain no asbestos fibres. Unfortunately, this isn't enough. A 1993 US National Toxicology Program report found that comsetic grade talc, even though it contained no asbestos-like fibres, caused tumours in animals. It would therefore appear that, whether asbestos-like fibres are present or not, cosmetic grade talcum powder is a carcinogen (causes cancer). |

"Marcone figures almost half the beans marketed under the name "kopi luwak" are either adulterated or fake, however, so buyer beware."

So less than $88 a pound? That's certainly far less expensive than the "urban legends" suggest of hundreds of dollars/lb.
Correction: I was looking at a blend. Pure is $320/lb
