It's 95 here on halloween. It's sad to see the little kids with face paint dripping sweat. However, it also makes for some sexy costumes.

Yeah, the comments about the sweaters losing their shapes on the hangers did make me paranoid though.

Halloween is just about the time of year here where the temperture breaks and it starts to cool off some, but it's a crap shoot. It can be 65 or it might be 80, you never know. I fold all my sweaters and have them in an armoire, doors open to access three rows of shelves. Keeps them in the origional shape, no "hanger shoulder" as I call it :p

I might actually know what "driving in cooler weather" is sometime :D

I love a good pair of leather driving gloves.

These got good reviews on other glove sites, fine Italian craftmanship. I wanted a pair that was NOT open in the back, want my hands warm when the top is down. Also, they have an interesting "nubbed" leather finish on the palm side that is "grippy" on the steering wheel. Should be delivered later in the week.

I have most of the things on that list of 20 that frost posted. I don't have any space bags or a seam separator. No need.

Oh, here's my current wallet. Got it a while back. I routinely carry less cash in it than what I paid for it. :icon17:

I just added this to my watch collection................. very nice quality and a killer price in this economy, hundreds off the $450 list. For some reason I tend to acquire decent watches in that $500 range, instead of buying one $2K or $3K watch. It's swiss movement, sapphire crystal, stainless, alarm, date..... I like it.

I told myself at the beginning of this year that if the markets performed I would use my bonus to get a nice $,$$$ watch. :icon17: I think I'll stick with my Seiko for a while longer. :bowrofl:

So, I finally hit the age where I need to stop using soap to wash my face. I was starting to get pretty dried out, and I'm definitely seeing signs of aging.

So I purchase the (almost) full lineup of the "Every Man Jack" products. Face wash, face scrub, face lotion, shampoo, deodorant, and bar soap.

Quick review, the bar soap (or body bar as they call it) fuckin rocks. It's brown, because they don't use dyes or other BS, and it's a bit rough, to exfoliate. It also lathers like a mad man.

They make a body wash too, but I'm a bar guy. I've tried to make the switch a couple times, but come back to the bar.

The shampoo is okay. They have an orange smell, to match the orange-scented body bar. They advertise you could use it every day, but I have still stuck with my every other day schedule.

The face scrub is decent. It's no better or worse than the neutrogena stuff I have used a couple times.

The face wash is where things kind of fall apart. It's thin, so it when you pop the top, you have to be careful that it doesn't just dump out. It also doesn't lather. Like, almost no lather at all. So I find myself using a lot of it. Also, they don't have orange-scented stuff to match the other scents. Their face stuff comes in non scented, and mint. I liked the idea of mint, but the mint smell is very weak.

The deodorant (which also has the orange smell) goes on great. Smells fantastic, but loses effectiveness mid day. So if you're at work, reapplying around lunch is likely necessary.

Lastly, there is the face lotion. I've only been using all this stuff for a week, and face lotion probably takes a month or more before you start seeing a difference, so I won't comment on it yet.

So, I will probably make a switch on most everything, except for the bar soap. Best I've ever used.

Same here. I have a nice Seiko too, and they are good watches and generally approved by the watch snob :p I was looking at the Omega Seamaster Bond that looks like the Victorinox, both are swiss quartz movement, stainless steel, sapphire crystal ................. and the Omega is $2000. It's waterproof to 1000 ft versus 330 on the Victorinox, and definitely a nicer watch, but $1500 nicer? ............. at the end of the day I felt guilty spending that kind of cash for another watch, so I bought the Vic :p

Nice, that looks like good quality stuff. Never too early to start pampering your face either

I just put a nice Di-Modell Rallye leather strap on mine to make me feel better. :icon17:
