I like these wallets - the pure sail cloth wears out, but the leather outside ones have held up well and are still pretty thin (and a bit quieter):

I have a nice J. Fold bi-fold wallet, holds 2 cards (credit and debit) on one side and has a clear plastic window for my license on the other, nice and thin. I keep another card wallet that holds 10 cards in my Z center console ............ has all the peripheral cards, grocery store, restaurant discount, health insurance, club membership, etc., when you need one you slip it out and back in after use, keeps the hip pocket wallet slim :tiphat:

I don't think I ever heard the sock thing. I don't think I ever thought about weather they are darker or lighter than the pants as long as they match.

As for the undershirts, it can be tough to ask a dude in Phoenix to wear a full short sleeve shirt, a long sleeve shirt on top of it, and possibly a jacket with the heat here.

When it comes to a shirt and tie, I always wear a t-shirt under the dress shirt. The t-shirt keeps the sweat away from the dress shirt and gives a cleaner look in summer heat. You get used to it. I also have always matched the sock to the pant color, or if wearing off white khakis, a tan colored sock (darker than the off white pant, but lighter than the shoe)

I wear under shirts, and it's generally not an issue because I don't wear a great deal of translucent shirts.

If someone made a nice thin/cool full t shirt, I would consider it. (I'm sure these t shirts exists, I just wouldn't know where to get them)

511 makes a nice wicking shirt that I sometimes wear under my long sleeves. Is that what you're looking for?

Does a wicking shirt work correctly when worn as an under shirt?

I think so. I wear them all the time now when I'm in a suit. Otherwise, I wear a tank when wearing a collared shirt.
