Interesting. I'm not normally a rum drinker, and one could generally not label rum as a "finer thing," but it is sure gaining momentum as an upper class drink the last couple years.

They have been developing high end rums now for a few years, attempting to create a product similar in value to the high end small batch bourbons. Many of the small batch and well done rums out now are quite tasty, as Shado attested too :tup:
