The middle watch is a Seiko Flightmaster (model SNA411). It's a quartz (battery) chronograph with alarm function. A pilots watch, equipped with a slide rule on the bezel for performing calculations.

You can get these now for between $210-$300 depending on where you buy from. When they first came out (many years ago) they retailed around $500.

This watch is also available in gold (SNA414) and blue bezel with white dial (SNA412).

Before my dad became ill (he's stable now). We tried locating my grandpa's pocket watch. man i wanted that pocket watch so bad even if it wasn't working. It's a very old pocket watch too. Since things didn't turn out well, I'll probably never find it now.

That's too bad you didn't find it. :(

This is my watch. $55. I wear mine 24/7 and they get beat to hell, they typically last 16 months or less.

Over the years I've had an Omega, Sinn and a ton of Citizens. Here is my newest one - Marathon JSAR modded by IWW -

That place definitely found the right thread. That a finer thing in life if I ever saw it. I've spent the last half hour trying to find something here that compares.

I wish I could wear a decent sized watched. I'm pretty much the skinniest person in the world so nothing looks right on my wrists. It's horrible.

Watches never fit me snugly, because my wrist-to-hand ratio is out of whack. So if it's big enough to get over my hand, it's just a little too large for my wrist.
