rumor is the car will have 525-535 hp so maybe a 40-50 hp bump.. supposed to have the refreshed front end. details are VERY sketchy right now but it could be shown as early as august and onsale in the winter.. this is the reason only 315 2011's are coming to the US... because they are doing a early launch of a 2012

the reasoning behind this seems to be keeping up with the latest refresh of the 997. this car now does 0-60 in like 3 seconds flat.. the GTR still was tested better that it in a few recent head to head track tests but straightline acceleration it cant keep up so the new version of the R35 is looking to up the ante again

Nissan has been very good lately about warranty a friend on NAGTROC just received a new transmission and his car was modded and he had tracked it..

porsche now keeps track of how many times and for how long the car was redlined and uses it to determine abuse in warranty claims

many cars have similar warranty exemptions the GTRs were just made very public and they got some bad PR due to some missteps at the initial launch of the car in 08
