Was born and raised in DeRidder, moved away in 95 though. Most of my family is still there. I've got an uncle in W. Monroe (Calhoun).

I was stationed in Ft. Polk back in the middle of DeRidder and New Llano back in the 80s, I had to scape that place every weekend to party in Houston.

The closer Mall was like 1 1/2 hr away and it was a dry county.
