Default No Z for me

Yes, its true. Truthfully not very sad about it. I went to a Nissan dealer a couple months ago and sat in a Nismo 350Z. Its a sweet looking car but just to small for me for every day commutes. I can't imagine how uncomfortable the 370 must be for me. So I shopped around and around... I think I may be going to the dark side after all these years driving imports... I drove a car I NEVER ever thought I would ever consider....especially after taking 2 GT500's out for nice spins around the establishment.

2009 Dodge Challenger R/T 6 speed in stone white (track pack). I know I know, I have been getting a lot of flack for my desicion...but I love it. I drove it once but never got on it. Drove it again...scared the crap out of the salesman...It really didn't take much convincing...my right foot did all the work! lol.

I still think the Z is a fantastic car and I would get one if I had the frame of a woman...but I don't, thank god.....

And you drove a Mazdaspeed 3?! LOL!!!

Anyway, the Challenger is a great car. If my deal falls through with the crap dealers here in East Texas, I am going straight to the Chevy dealership and I'm buying a Camaro SS.

I kind of miss my V8 roots anyway. (built 4 pro mods)

The 3 is a pretty decent sized car and is in no way a chick car! lol Funny thing is...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Lotus Elise Exige...looks bigger than the Z actually and WAY sexier IMO. Options options options...lol.

Yeah really. If I wasn't paying for two other cars on top of the upcoming one, the Exige would actually be in the running. Anyway, do you have any pics of the Challenger? How solid does it feel?

Well I drove the Challenger twice, the same car too. It feels extremely solid. The exterior is amazing! The interior is very business like, but classy looking. Some say its boring, but I think its classic and uncluttered. I drove the R/T Track pak which has the 6 speed manual. Car is extremely easy to drive. You feel the weight of the car around the turns if you aren't on it through them. The car drives like a smaller car. Its hard to explain. The engine has nice power and torque and has no problem getting up and going for a 3,800 lb car. I was very shocked when I drove it, like I said before it wasn't even in the running until I just bit the bullet and drove one and I was glad I did!

The R/T 6 speed has a special tuned exhaust system from the factory so it sounds different than the automatics because the auto's have the cylinder shut off. So the 6 speed has a nice growl throughout the powerband.

LOL... I have taken a vow of modification silence for at most 2 years. Figured since I modded my last car so much I can no longer afford it anymore. But mods will be minimal. I look at it as more time to save for mods, but more importantly my life....diamonds are expensive as hell!

But in 2 years I will have more than enough for Vortech S/C, Predator tuner, MBRP catback, full hotchkis suspension, BBK front and rear, some wide rims and meaty tires. But thats all in due time. I'll be chrning up a little north of 500whp.

All that and the always nice V8 rumble. Congrats with the coming engagement! Don't be in a rush to make kids though. They'll keep your arse up all night... Nah, it's not that bad. I can't wait to give my little man a mohawk. haha!

I like the Chally. I drove an R/T and SRT8 before I bought the Z. In the end is was a bit too expensive, plump, and plain on the inside for my taste. Now if I could have gotten $5k or more off of the sticker I would be a happy owner today.
Post up some pics!
