Racing Sims
 

Anyone know of any racing games that you can actually stall the car in/where shift quality actually matters? (like if you have one of those logitech racing wheels like the g25/g27)

I don't know of any that will let you stall off the top of my head, but if you want more realism, Fanatec makes a racing wheel setup with a clutch and a six speed shifter. Kind of pricy though.

Yes, there are sims that will let you stall, although it is not necessarily the default setting. GTR2 for example you can turn auto-clutch off and then it will allow you to stall say after a spin, and let you screw up gear changes.

As I recall iRacing simulates a baulked gear change and grinding gears but I don't think you can stall. Maybe you can and I just haven't encountered it yet.

What do you mean shifting matters? I get in my z and press the X button and I go forwards. Triangle for reverse. And I never use my peripheral vision while I drive.

i went to climb up a wall (a la assassin's creed)yesterday and i held down right trigger, A, and ran forwards into the wall and i didn't go anywhere... :ugh2:

I'd write an angry letter to the game devs then. :mad:
