Reducing Points!
Hello everyone, I just completed an online defensive class recently and I was wondering if there are any other classes I can take to reduce my points.
I used safemotorist and I should be getting a -2 point off my record! During the course it talked about another form of internet class or something similar which allows -3 points but the class cost $100.00 instead of the $49.00. Anyone know which course that is? Any input would be appreciated! -Crown

The defensive driving corse is the only one that I know of that you can take. After you do it once it will not remove anymore points if you do it again.
I have something like 8 or 9 points right now and use to pay out of the but for insurance. But I finally said heck with it and dropped insurance to min coverage. After tickets and all and also coming of age it seems that I do not do the stup things I use to. Or not as much. The only advice I can give you is just be patient and let the points drop off as the years go by.

Mississippi's No Point System Many states have a point system to penalize bad drivers. Depending on the severity of their infraction, each violation racks up points on their driving record. After accumulating so many points, these drivers risk high insurance premiums and even the suspension or loss of their driving privileges. However, in Mississippi, no such point system exists. This does not mean that traffic violators get off scot-free. Each ticket issued to a driver goes on his/her driving record, accessible to potential employers and to the insurance company. If you fail to pay traffic tickets within the required time period, your license will be suspended. And reinstatement of the license is costly. The suspension fee alone costs $285.50, plus you'll get slapped with a $25 reinstatement fee in addition to the cost of the ticket itself. Most likely, your insurance rates will also increase.
