Good job duder. Im late to this party too, but if you've read any of my posts in the OG thread, you saw I went through a similar situation recently. I kicked myself for waiting so long before saying how I felt. Everything's in limbo now until she gets back from the sandbox, but...always keep my fingers crossed.

The only piece of advice I can give is this: you did your part. I'd avoid not only being completely passive, but also being completely overbearing. Try to put yourself in her shoes - imagine she just threw herself at you, and you said you didn't have feelings that were mutual, but there was always potential. Why would you have even said that if you weren't at least curious? To prevent hurting her feelings? At that point, it'd seem silly to do that, and hopefully you wouldn't do that to someone - create a false sense of hope. So, your goal now is to just be you. If she doesn't like you for who YOU are...whats the point? How often do you hear women say they hate fakes?

The ball is in her hands now, but that doesn't mean you have to play fair. Spend as much time with her as possible - try to help her realize how special she is to you, more so than anyone else. Try to be the best friend you can possibly be to her, not that you may not be in that position already. Good luck!

Thanks man, I am going to try to spend some more time with her. Weather it involves just helping her out with something or going out to a movie or dinner. I am not going to build up a false hope just keep myself aware of what she said and see where it goes.

Pwah, you'll be fine. Another tip: dont act depressed if it doesnt seem to be going as well as expected. I learned THAT one from my dad, ironically, years ago. We were on vacation, he met some woman he was interested in, and when she shot him down he started to give the guilt trip on her. She eventually got so sick of it, she blocked his instant messenger name...I rofled.

In other news, I sent a belated valentines day gift to the woman Im interested in. I finally got her address, and she dropped the hint that she really wished she had some chocolates, so, why not. Of course, with valentines day chocolates comes a valentines day card, but I decided to cut it in half, so when she gets back she can read the rest of it. Naturally, THAT half has the mushy stuff, but the 1st enough to whet the appetite and hopefully keep her interested. We'll see, I'll find out if it was good enough in a week or so Im sure.

This is what you gotta do. Find some random girl, make sure she is really cute, and start dating her, but dont care about her at all. Still hangout with your lover, and if she asks if anything is new tell her about the new girl your seeing (just dont make it sound like your trying to make her jealous, But you have to now make HER feel like she just got put into the FRIEND catergory and doesnt have a chance to date you) THIS WILL MAKE HER DROP TO HER KNEES FOR YOU. Girls like to chase after someone, you have to be a little bit of an ***, and make them feel like they cant have you unless they work for it. Dont expect her to ever come around to wanting to date you if you just continue crushing on her and hangingout with her and being nice to her.

Or, just move on, there are plenty of fish in the sea my man

Im just sayin, it wont. I just met up last night with a girl Ive liked for the past year. She has become stunning since the last time I saw her and it would be nice to date her. She has a bf tho. She asked me how my love life was goin, I said fantastic (even tho I am single) and that I just started dating this girl. She went from being a pain in the *** when it comes to hanging out with me, to all over me at the bar, and I wasnt even flirtin with her. She wanted to see a pic of my "gf" so I pulled up a pic of a hot friend of mine on facebook, she was like wow she is so pretty good for you. Then later said she was goin to another bar to meet up with a girl friend so i said i had a buddies bday party to go to. hour later I start getting txts from her begging me to come hangout with her.

Trust me, i was always the nice guy and the best bf in the world. I i realized after getting hurt more than enough times, that you have to be a lil evil in order to get what you want.
