Didn't see the link as I'm on my phone, but it's fake.
It was on Mythbusters (!). They heat the table or whatever it is on with a blow torch.

Fake - and it wasnt a heated table, either. The makers admitted they dropped pre-popped popcorn onto the table and simply digitally edited out the kernels.

Yep fake, but not to say that there isn't some kind of danger from being exposed on a daily bases. I think that there is definitely some risk involved, and more testing needs to be done, I haven't stopped making phone calls yet though :tup:
