i also read today that after editing the finale its now gonna be 2.5 hours because they couldnt fit it all into just the 2 hour slot

oh and can someone help me out with this question..

who planted the C4 on ajira?

it had to be either widmore as either a last ditch back up plan to stop MIB from leaving.. or as part of a rouse for the losties ( if you believe him and mib are someone still on the same side and its a long con)

or was it richard miles and ben? they were going to the barracks to get explosives to well blow up the plane...... but the problem with that is why would they have rigged it to blow when the plane started possibly killing their friends... and how did they get past the guards to plant it?...

so it was widmore right? but was it a trap... i mean no one with common sense believed the plane was able to fly so was the explosives in the plane just for show?

Doesn't widmore know about the the candidate and maybe the fact that if all of them die the MIB is free? I though it was intresting that the MIB can't kill them by himself and has to have someone else do it, just like what he did with jacob. I am curious as to why desmond is so important and what his role in all this is going to be.

yeah i mean if you believe widmore really is good then he was keeping them away from MIB in the cages....

and yeah MIB cant kill the canidates ( like what ghost boy jacob told him about sawyer) and they cant kill themselves directly ( like the dynamite scene with jack)

so MIBs plan was to have them all die together so there would be no more canidates and the game or whatever ends....

jack was right if they would have done nothing then the bomb wouldnt have gone off... but i assume MIB knew that sawyer with the guilt of juliet wouldnt let jack sit there and do nothing so by him disarming it ( the irony now is he is responsible for jin sun sayid and lapidus death just like jack was juliet)

... it went off and then you can get technical and say but isnt that like killing themselves? well i guess since sayid wasnt a canidate anymore that it blew him up and the sub sinking was a result of that so it wasnt directly them killing themselves... almost like another loophole.... the canidates can die they just cant be killed by MIB directly or kill themselves directly

so does that mean that sun was a canidate and not jin? if jin was then could he have stayed with her? isnt that suicide? might be a stretch i dunno


not sure about the desmond connection yet.. must have to do with bridging the sideways? i still think locke is gonna come back somehow..... he has to be the what lies in the shadow of the statue ...he who will save us all thing

I was also speculating about him being the only one that traveled between the two realities had to do with his importance. Did you understand why he hit and run lock at the school? I think it was so he could meet jack in the hospital. Also was is your suspicion about MIB and jacob in that sneak peek? Form what I gathered MIB mom was shipwrecked and jacobs mom has been there. Its going to be interesting to see how the two grew up as friends and then basically enemies, plus why it's so important to keep MIB on the island.

Why does the candidate have to be either Sun or Jin? It could very well be their child... remember Jacob touched both of em - so you know ... one X from mom and one X from dad...

he hit him i think to recreate or mirror the fall out of the building from the island world which would jog the memory of the original timeline..... the last shot of that episode showed john from like the exact angle of when he fell out of the building.. and it worked he was mumbling about the button and i wish you have believed me in his sleep.

and yeah i think the hospital and jack plays a role in there too..



here is my theory on those sneak peeks.. i havent read spoilers so if im right im just right

ok clearly the one woman was pregnant... i think she is both jacob and MIBs mom i think they are brothers (do they look the same age in that second clip? jacob does look older but to me it makes sense that they are twins ) .... i think the other woman in that clip ( allison janey) is like the current island protector role person maybe of that era ?

and i think she raises them instead of that woman with the hurt leg. remember the first time mib sees the kid.. he is younger and has bloody hands... so something bad happens... and i think that maybe she is grooming them for the island protector role.. and loves jacob more than MIB or something and maybe jacob betrays MIB for that role of island protector?

basically i dont think either one of them are gods or supernatural.. i think the role of island protector gave jacob those powers and that MIB got screwed somehow (the whole body was stolen thing he talked about) i think all that MIB is pure evil is BS i think this is some big game between brothers and MIB is just a really really pissed off guy going for revenge


by the way i read a few months ago this episode takes place in a time and place never before seen .... the time i get but it looks like its on the island the whole time.... i thought we were gonna get some answers to all the egyptian stuff....

or wait just thought of something you could be right and that one older lady is jacobs mom and and like MIB could be like an adopted black sheep type kid and his step mom was crazy to him.. because to me the blonde boy does look older i guess

but wasnt there some reference on lost to bad twin?

or maybe that pregnant girl is like claire and maybe mib was the real canidate and maybe jacobs mom stole the birth right from him so jacob could be the protector?

isnt that like jacob and esau in the bible... like one tricked their father that they were the other one or something? im not saying its literaly that im just saying lost uses a lot of familar myth and two battling brothers is a common one through out alot of cultures

Yeah I watch it on hulu, and a person did mention jacob and esau. Esau was a hunter and and was loved more by his dad, while jacob stayed home and I guess you can say a pretty boy and was loved more by his mother. I wonder if they are going to show them as twins? lol maybe because of their hair color thats why jacob is good and MIB is bad. They have not revealed MIB name have they? Also, just throwing it out there, I think it would have been interesting if hurley could have seen locke, unless there is something the MIB does when he takes over the image of someone that they can't communicate....just a though....lol. To think I though people were crazy watching the show . can't wait to see who those other people are.

Maybe MIB will be enticed to go with those people in the preview and therefor be turned to the dark side ?

Also with the blood line maybe not, cause if shepard was part of the bloodline then there would be no need for the candidacy.

Was the anything mentioned about the reason for the Egyptian like statue before its was destroyed, also i remember they noticed that it had only 4 toes?

the statue was Taweret goddess of protection and fertility

im guessing the egyptian stuff can just be explained by many civilizations had come there in the past and the egyptians built things while they were there? and jacob just hangs out in the abandoned statue?

yeah the bloodline thing really goes against the canidate so that couldnt make sense i dont guess.... im just trying to think of a way that aaron is important... they made such a big deal over him about beign raised by claire and then they had that dream with the white and black eyes on locke ... then they kinda let that go a little

heres a good subject for everyone... besides the overall story arch whats the one specific question you have to have answered before the show ends?

for me it has to be who was in the rocking chair in the cabin and the whole story around that.... i was going to say the donkey wheel too..

hmmm...those two are pretty good, I'm def. curious about the wheel and how it got there. Didn't MIB mention to desmond a little history of the well and how the people found it? Maybe they will reveal it in the next episode. I just want to know about the whole history of the island and how it got there and why is it really there, unless they already mentioned it. Also, how did jacob get off the island w/o MIB knowing, unless they already mentioned it....lol. I'm probably going to watch all of them again after its finished.
