Went to team nissan walked in and there it was a brand new gtr sitting there staring at me. LOL I actually got to touch it. What a sexy car. :excited::eek2::yawn:

That is all

HKYStormFront 02-01-2010 10:58 AM

lolz, i see GTR's every once in a while:tup: usually for:pics:

370Zsteve 02-01-2010 11:00 AM

I've seen exactly one on the highway, and the guy was a douche, lol, weaving in and out of traffic.

Every time I go into my local dealership, I go and drool over a red GT-R in the showroom, it's a Beast.

vash_241987 02-01-2010 11:02 AM

they have a tendency to do that ;)

mick 02-01-2010 11:12 AM

i read some of the latest car magazine issues and people seem to prefer the gt-r over the lexus new supercar. most thought the lexus was overpriced and overweight.

LinPark 02-01-2010 11:25 AM

Seen one here on the highway in Southwest Florida awhile back - red one at the dealer in Sarasota and a gun metal one at the dealer in Bradenton. Can't imagine walking in to buy one of those babies - maybe someday! :)

IMO the GT-R is one of those "I could afford it one day" supercar for the middle class because if its price. Lexus IF-A is mostly wealthy people supercar....plus it does suck that it's only for lease.

yea, the R35 really is the everyday man's exotic. yea it's out of the reach of a lot of people, but a lot of people that make right around six figures (or even a little less depending on their situation) can afford to have one vs ferrari, lambo, AM and now the LF-A where you've got to have a serious bank roll to buy and maintain the vehicle. but at the same time, people who might normally buy those top end cars can look at the GTR and think "hmm, i could get one of those and mod the hell out of it for the entry fee of 'car X'... plus it's faster out of the box". also, another way to look at it is, how much money would you need to put into a new Z to get into the lower 11's in a 1/4 mile (if that's your thing)? and doing so (it would almost have to be forced induction) would void your warranty, vs the GTR that does that has that level of performance with warranty.

yes, me = GTR :nutswinger: i'm not ashamed!

GT-R is truly an enthusiast car imo. Most people are too consumed with flaunting their status and would rather spend their 80k on a Benz or Lexus. If I see a GT-R on the street, I know for a fact the driver loves the car. :D

I'm starting to warm up the flappy paddle shifting.. but I dunno, I think i would still rather have a 997 porsche , but I'm slowly coming around.. saw an 09 gtr with 20k for 60k.. maybe another year and they'll be in my price range!!:yum:

370zproject 02-02-2010 01:29 PM

There are generally between two and three GT-R's at the dealership I bought my 370 from. When I was buying my Z my salesman was cool enough to show me one a little bit. They are a gorgeous car, the best part is like most of you have said they are an Enthusiasts car!

Econ 06-29-2011 04:03 PM

the GTR is growing on me, but it just doesnt look "exotic" imho

Dark Sarcasm 06-29-2011 05:45 PM

At the last Cars and Coffee here in Houston the Lexus dealer brought out an LFA. There was a constant crowd around that thing all day. There were some GT-Rs there that drew some attention but the LFA was the big draw that day. First and only LFA I have seen in person.

x102x 07-06-2011 01:41 AM

feel like GTR should get better rim bc the 370z rim even look better lol but who care the car are bad tho lol

PapoZalsa 07-06-2011 09:18 AM

I'm yet to see one driving on the street around here. Only saw one that went to C & C one day, months ago.

bigaudiofanat 07-06-2011 02:21 PM

About a month ago I saw two of them within a minute of each other.

370zproject 07-07-2011 11:07 AM

saw my first gtr here... it was grey and sexy

wheee! 07-07-2011 11:35 AM

LOL I see more GT-Rs on the road here in oil town than 370's! Must be the $100,000 cdn price tag that attracts them....

SgtGoldy 07-10-2011 04:45 AM

MC sees one everyday... bastard... lol

Eric 07-11-2011 12:05 PM

I've seen 4 GT-R's on the road over the past couple weeks. It's kind of a surprise because I never see GT-R's around here.

rebe945 07-11-2011 12:13 PM

Gtr

Saw one last year and 3 this year. One right in front of me, took a pic. A black, grey and a white. Nice car. :iagree:

Brutal 370Z 07-11-2011 12:19 PM

Seen at least 10 in Toronto. more popular than 370s here as well. really weird how that is. They're going for $110,000 here brand new. Saw a used one for $85k at the dealership.

Isamu 07-13-2011 07:35 PM

I saw one in Fargo on the way to wisconsin... but they don't even sell them here lol

urvokbm 07-15-2011 05:14 PM

im in West Palm Beach, FL and I am blessed to have 10 GTRs just within a 5mile radius of my house. my neighbor has a black edition stock, my neighbor down the street has a white one with 21" HREs, a friend at the gym has a bone stock white 2009, and theres a HIGHLY modded black edition running around with 1,000 horsepower and bronze lipped wheels to match his brake calipers. the thing that I really like about seeing numerous GTRs everyday.. is that Ive been driving my 370z for over a month now and I have yet to pull up next to another fellow owner. Ive only seen 2 or 3 370zs since I purchased mine.. it adds a whole nother level of character when you see a car that you rarely ever see. if i pulled up at a local gas station in my MB/persimmon 2009 sport I will definitely get more looks/questions than a GTR because people are familiar with the GTR yet they have no idea what a 370z is.
