A buddy of mine had a 69 or 70 GTX. Was a 440 and it was an auto but was fitted with a Hurst shift kit. Don't remember what it was called, but it was basically a manual auto.

I do remember that it was a two man job to get it started. One to turn the key, the other to turn the distributer till it fired up.

Every 4 speed car I ever had. Had a Hurst Super Shifter in it. No rubber bushings in the linkage. Just solid steel bushings.

Buddy of mine growing up together had a green '70 440 GTX.
