I've never kept a car long enough to replace spark plugs until now. Never done it before obviously, and looks pretty straightforward and simple.

There seems to be a discrepancy between on whether to remove and replace the plugs when the engine is hot or cold, as I've read both.

Thoughts?

What an incredible day, the weather was a 10/10.. I knocked out an oil change on the Supra.. about to watch the Florida State Seminoles take on the LSU Tigers, prime time!

With an ice cold corona w/ lime in hand.

Life is peachy boys and girls. :iagree:

Do it cold. And put anti sieze on the threads of the new plugs. Di electric grease inside the plug boots.

Cold it is.

And definitely on the dielectric grease, but I read on Denzo's website that they advise against on lubing the threads?

You never had the pleasure of removing a spark plug and having the threads come with it. :shakes head:

That does not sound like a good time at all. Antiseize grease also it is then.

The instructions also stated they come pre-gapped to .44 (which is what my car calls for), and the sales person also said the same thing when I asked for the measuring coin, but came out to be at .35, so basically the instructions seem to be worthless.
