Completed my break in period today!

All I can say is wow. This car accerlates at very dangerous speeds. In first gear it accelerated so violently I pulled something in my neck. Man I love this car!!!

I'm half way through, need another month. When I first drove the car i thought it felt slower than my 350z, looking forward to see how fast this car is.

Haha... I already am at the point where I feel like the car is very slow. I need a lot more power.

What's the break-in period for the Z34? Everybody has a different answer, but I'm curious if Nissan changed it after the Z33.

Drive a honda civic around for a few weeks than drive a Z. The first time I drove a guys Z OMG that thing GOES. A lot faster than the 350z's I have driven.

I actually only waited 1000 miles. A few people on the forum tracked their a car a few days after they bought it so I figured 1000 miles is fine. But DAYUM!!! compared to an rsx its fast.

Chapter 5 - Starting & Driving: No hard accelerations, do not exceed 4000rpm, for 1200mi

I'm @ 1000 milies in last 7 weeks, inlcdues 360 miles drive home from Fusz Nissan in St Louis.

Winter break-in is tolerable because no grip anyhow. since 800 mi I've been pushing 5000 rpm, maybe hit 5500 once. Patience!

lol its def very tempting. The first time I pushed it in 1st-3rd gear I was shocked. Now I want more power! good thing by april ill have my full bolt ons lol
