PayPal/payment for parts in Canada?
Hey everyone..any good advice on sending payment for parts to Canada? Fairly big amount “sc”. Haven’t used PayPal in years and struggling to figure out my total dollar it will cost with the whole Canada thing involved. Anyone that can help me out here or a better way? Open to ideas! Thanks

when u r sending money to another country PayPal does the conversion for you and you can see it before you authorize the payment , I haven't send to Canada but I do it to Mexico all the time.

I had it pulled up by sending through the guys phone number just to see and all it said it the amount he receives could be less but just showed what I had entered. I’ll double check what I did- just curious if anyone had any better ideas. Thanks for the quick response

No matter how you pay (other then cash) you are screwed.
I have a US dollar balance in my PayPal account, and when I buy things in US I use it. That way the price is if I were paying Can dollars. But that is going to run out eventually. |
I’m mostly just confused because I can’t get PayPal to adjust the cost? No matter if I get to the screen where I actually send payment as a family
Member without security, with security, to Canadian dollars it does not adjust my price at all. Just says it could adjust what the seller gets but gives me no actual total change. Do I get nailed for every dollar I’m sending? Or just a flat rate on the entire purchase? It shows me what I entered, what he gets, “but that could change from taxes” for him is all it says. Been pretty hectic since I’m at the final screen and no info is showing anything. Just US to Canadian dollar My total price is $4,000 - just wanting to know do I expect $500 added on? I have no damn idea lol |
