There’s actually quite a few checks and balances to limit govts abuse of power against an individual or corporation, especially in this country and even in Western Europe. In China and Russia etc, not so much. FDR famously abused govt power by creating a tax bracket specifically for iiirc the Rockefellers during ww2. Florida state govt targeting Disney for punishment bc they don’t like the company’s public stance on an issue is another example of govt abuse. Still, it’s pretty rare for overt abuses like the two examples I listed to happen here in this country. |

I do agree that if you had to pick one, exercise is more important than diet, but only to an extent, you really need to deal with both There’s plenty of people who work out like crazy but still have high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol for example. |
