How very socialist of you. Govt power should NEVER be used against an individual or corporation that disagrees with those in power.

Was meant as a joke, but all joking aside, what do you think the US and every other world power does?

Yep, time to hit up Discord like everyone else.

If you do that, you might as well just call the FBI and tell them to listen in on your discord convos.

Everyone on that site is on the govts radar now at least for a while.

They are already doing that with your phone, emails, etc. What do you think AI will do once it fully rolls out and is part of our everyday lives?

"New research suggests that french fries may be linked to depression."

Nope, I don't agree with this at all. IMO, the single biggest factor in someone's physical/mental health is working out. You can eat the most healthiest of the healthiest, but if you don't hit the gym, your physical and mental health is at risk more so than any other variable/factor IMO.

"'I never gave a f--k about a calorie,' Jason Statham says."

Health is a combination of working out AND good diet. They go hand in hand. As you get older it becomes even more important.

Remember the McYoked only has 3 fries, so you’ve got no worries.

That’s the wifey’s long term plan, the TT RS for local and somewhat close tracks and eventually we’ll pick up a 375z for her to go to long distance tracks.

Everyone's bodies works differently.

But if you had to choose 1 over the other, IMO, working out goes a longer way than diet alone. It's been proven many times over that people who engage in physical activity/working out are much more productive and live longer than their less active counterparts even with healthy diets.

I figured.

There’s actually quite a few checks and balances to limit govts abuse of power against an individual or corporation, especially in this country and even in Western Europe.

In China and Russia etc, not so much.

FDR famously abused govt power by creating a tax bracket specifically for iiirc the Rockefellers during ww2.

Florida state govt targeting Disney for punishment bc they don’t like the company’s public stance on an issue is another example of govt abuse.

Still, it’s pretty rare for overt abuses like the two examples I listed to happen here in this country.

That is background “scrubbing” and vacuuming up of everyone’s metadata which we all know happens (Snowden confirmed it with his treasonous leak).

What I’m talking about is that you’ll be making yourself open to a more “personal” in-depth looksee.

There are many policies/laws/regulations/etc. in place and on official books. But are they being followed and abided by? Not so much. Look at all the fraud/scandals in-house at all levels since the history of ever. And these issues are a lot more common and more likely than not.

I get that. But, I'm saying this is already happening, and have been happening, on multiple levels and beyond discord. And it's not just "scrubbing". I'm sure there is much more information about anyone already being monitored/collected and much more so than they would be comfortable with, let alone are aware of.

Actually, the human body is pretty consistent even controlling for race, ethnicity etc.

Obviously there are small differences here and there, some folks have naturally higher metabolisms as an example.

I do agree that if you had to pick one, exercise is more important than diet, but only to an extent, you really need to deal with both

There’s plenty of people who work out like crazy but still have high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol for example.

The human body mechanisms may be the same, but everyone is different in the sense they each have their strong and weak points. Some people are diabetic, others have allergies. Some people can't have dairy and others can't have meat. Blood type also plays a factor, as well as your genes.
