Water is your best friend and your worst enemy, as you boys know, ya gotta have it to live and it can destroy everything.

I actually think it’s easier going without electricity than water.

glad you got it taken care of kin folk.

The sun gave off a HUGE CME on the backside. They are saying that if it was earth facing. It would have been what they call a "Kill Shot". It would have fried everything that is electrical.

You know we have shielding from this, correct? Faraday cages ring a bell.

Doesn't Zoren crawl in a Faraday Cage after he suits up in vinyl and straps on his ball gag? Or am I thinking of something else entirely?

Travel day. In gilbert now heading home in a few hours
I managed to try my luck targeting trout yesterday in colorado
Got nothing but a ton of ant bites. I was wearing shorts. Tourist sighting..lol.. I didnt use any Deet because it was a last minute decision to fish.
Also, driving back to az from Colorado, massive storms on a two lane highway is not fun at all.

It's weird. I have to keep telling myself that when we get home, I DONT have to get ready for a work week...haha

Was reading today Taco Bell can’t get some of the basic supplies they need to run their stores :shakes head: Chicken is up a buck a pound, bacon is in short supply……. and the list goes on

Not only shortage of material, but labor as well. The taco bell in durango was desperate for workers. They were running a pretty aggressive hiring campaign, to the point where they put fliers that they are hiring in the bags at the drive through

Except not everything has a Faraday cage around it or adequate grounding. I smoked an 18-wheeler's CB with 1KW of RF...

I’ve seen advertisements at Taco Bell “ work today, get paid tomorrow “ & for a 401k but the unemployment rate remains high.

Safe travels my friend

Happy Tool Day :hello:

Got a set of 1/4 short and deep impact sockets along with 1/4 short and deep 12 pt standard sockets on the way. Also got a Tekton 15 pc set of 11-32 mm 1/2 short impact sockets for $30 (I just needed the 30 and 32 mm sockets).

JARblue 07-21-2021 09:33 AM

Forgot I also ordered a 37 pc set of 1/2 short and deep 12 pt standard sockets. They are Gearwrench - got the whole set for under $100

Yeah, but there is no protection for power generation. Grid goes down. :shakes head: And all of the power generation companies know about and ain't doing a thing about it. PJM Interconnect used to send me e-mails everyday about the sun's condition when I was at the plant.

That's his electric shock therapy.
