2. I wait in the lobby, the cool thing here in south florida, i dont know if all dealerships do it, but there are several cameras in the autiobay live streaming so customers can see their vehicles. So with this last time I was there, I literally watched the mechanic drive out with it, I was right there waiting on him.

3. Not sure if Lexus/BMW could service it to be honest, thats a good question I'd like to know myself. I do know that not any toyota mechanic can work on the car, you have to be certified Supra mechanic.

In other words, one has to be a BMW certified mechanic to work on it?

It’s ok, imagine spending $150,000 on a Z06 and having the pimple faced kid that changes the oil on the Malibus learning on the job….

I try to stay away from dealerships unless its absolutely imperative (like warranty work)..

Most Harley Davidson dealers flat out refuse to work on any bike of theirs older than 9 years old.

I suppose that makes sense about the certified Supra mechanic, but then theoretically, a BMW mechanic that specializes in servicing a Z4 should be able to work on the Supra? Just for sh!ts and giggles, I'm gonna call a local BMW service dept. about this.

I wonder what Toyota would say if someone with a LFA pulled up for their routine service.

So I called 2 BMW's Service Departments today in the area (BMW of Tampa and BMW of Wesley Chapel). Both have informed they cannot service the new BMW Supra's. One of them told me it's because their dept. is not "Supra certified", while the other told me because it's not a BMW. I also asked them both if Toyota will service a Z4 and they said no (the latter I was obviously being facetious).

PSA: Time to file your 2022 Taxes.

There's a very good chance your refund may be smaller this time around. Mine was about $1100 less:

End up pulling the muscle off of bone like I did on my right arm. That was a 6 month heal.

It’s like taking your Ferrari to a Chevy dealer for service. No thanks!

I really like the Z06, but it’s still a Chevy. I find it highly doubtful most dealers have skilled techs on hand to work on them.

Most of them probably have never heard of a flat plane, nevermind actually work on one.

Biggest gym pet peeves:

1. Having very poor form/posture because you're lifting more than you should
2. Grunting/screaming really loud unnecessarily because you're lifting more than you should
3. Slamming/dropping the weights down unnecessarily because you're lifting more than you should

:iagree:

The reason I inquired about the Supra/BMW is because they use the same BMW engine.

Oh, I get it! I’m just saying that if I would own a Supra, I’d trust the BMW dealer before I took it to the guy that works on Camry’s all day.

Say what you will about the new Z. It’s a parts car, blah blah blah… at least I would trust a dealer to work on it. Z06, Supra? Not so much.

There was a video on YouTube about a guy with a brown motor on his 2023 c8 z06. 53 miles, kaput. Took GM 3 days to get it towed to the right dealership. Yea, no thanks. Not for $150,000.
