Thank goodness I wasn't on the way to MA to drop my car off. I know the area well where everyone is stuck on I-95. It is miserable driving in good weather on that stretch.

I've gotten stuck before on the PA Turnpike for several hours a few times... that ain't fun. I couldn't imagine going 24 hours tho...

I was stuck right there heading North out of Fredericksburg one time. It sucked.

I am not sure if there is a large snowmobile presence in that area, But many people in Michigan own snowmobiles and would be able to rescue or bring supplies to hundreds of people.
